Antique Unsigned Peruzzi? 800 Silver Roman Renaissance Revival 33″ Necklace Muff
A rare find with fun details when admired up close. 800 silver filigree links connect 4 larger stations shaped like a mummy, a cherub with perfectly carved curls and wings, a person on a rearing horse and what might be a heraldic shield. Some of them are stamped ‘Italy’ on the back. The spring ring clasp is broken and there are signs of verdigris. 33 inches long, 35g. I don’t have the means to test for 800 silver but look of the piece and research leads me to believe it’s an antique Peruzzi-style necklace/muff.
